‘FRANK SINATRA’S NEIGHBORHOOD’ WALKING TOURS IN PALM SPRINGS
Want to learn more about the history of Palm Springs as the playground of the stars, while taking in superb architecture and scenery? Well you’re in luck, because the Palm Springs Historical Society is leading walking tours of the Movie Colony neighborhood of Palm Springs on April 25 and May 2, 2014. Designed to showcase celebrity homes and architecturally significant properties, the tour includes the homes of Frank Sinatra, Cary Grant, Jack Benny, Dinah Shore, Gloria Swanson and others, and features properties designed by renowned mid-century modern architects like E. Stewart Williams, Donald Wexler, William Cody, Hugh Kaptur and more.
