With weekend one of Coachella in the rearview mirror, it’s time to start planning for weekend two! While the music festival is of course the main event, the many Coachella parties held during the two weekends have also become a big part of the Coachella experience (as well as part of what some folks who choose not to actually attend the festival have coined the “NoChella” experience). The majority of the big fashion brand and magazine-sponsored parties were held during weekend one, but weekend two has its own share of fun stuff going on, including the F10 Block Party in Palm Springs. Produced by Foundation 10 Creative, the folks behind Palm Springs hotspots Birba, Cheeky’s, JIAO and Alcazar, the two-day block party is taking place on Saturday, April 19 and Sunday, April 20, and will include yummy food from Birba and Cheeky’s, live music (including SlimKid3 of the Pharcyde), backgammon, yoga and pilates, a juice bar and a farmer’s market. The event is being held on the block in front of Birba (622 N. Palm Canyon Drive, Palm Springs), and will run from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. each day, with yoga and pilates starting at 9 a.m. both days. Entrance is free before 5 p.m. and $5 after 5 p.m. See you there!
