The Coachella weekend one festivities kicked off yesterday, with tons of great parties to hit up before and after heading to the festival to catch acts including HAIM, Ellie Goulding, Girl Talk and OutKast. We spent much of the afternoon hanging out poolside at the Ingleside Inn in Palm Springs for the Music Lounge event presented by BMF Media and hosted by the lovely DJ Mia Moretti, where guests including Katy Perry and Jennie Garth enjoyed soaking up the sun while Moretti spun 45s featuring tunes from the 50s, 60s and 70s.

Guest DJs Myles Hendrik, Wade Crescent, Henri, stylist Cleo Wade, DJ Equal and Marcelle Harlow all joined in the mix with Moretti to keep the party going throughout the day.

Eliza Taylor and Lindsey Morgan, stars of the CW’s The 100 (pictured below on the right), came out to enjoy some fun in the sun alongside Beverly Hills 90210 alum Jennie Garth (below on left).

Guests were able to visit the Olay Villa on the property to get their hair braided at the Olay Braid Bar while enjoying candy from WONKA, and posed for photos in the Herbal Essences photo booth.

Koolaburra was on hand to showcase their latest footwear; Jennie Garth went home with the ‘Deven’ sandal. Eugénie Grey of Feral Creature (below on right) was on-hand in a bikini and kimono look with Koolaburra ‘Fion’ laced and laser-cut gladiators.

At the Tide Plus Style Villa, guests were able to snap a selfie with a jewel-encrusted Tide bottle and check out fashions and gifting from Alexis n Ryan and Artisan de Luxe, as well as pick up a super-convenient portable phone charger from the Invest Again charging station.

Partygoers enjoyed the new Coors Light Summer Brew with natural lemon, lime and orange flavors (so good!) and battled it out at the Coors Light ping pong table.

And then of course there was the fashion! Mia Moretti rocked a Dolce & Gabbana high-waisted bikini, and Katy Perry was festival-ready in a crop-top, cut-off jean shorts and pink ballet flats, with rainbow hues in her hair. Model Chloe Norgaard (below on left) sported an eclectic layered look and rainbow locks.

Kimonos were a popular theme amongst guest apparel, as well as rompers, strappy sundresses and crop-top/high-waisted shorts combos. Others chose to stick to swimwear, which was perfect for such a hot day.

The Music Lounge was such a great start to the weekend, and we’re sure to have more highlights from the rest of this three-day event to share with you!
