We’re loving the first edition of the House Shelves series by Vancouver, B.C.-based Straight Line Designs, with wall-mounted floating shelves inspired by midcentury modern Palm Springs architecture. Each shelf is made from recycled materials like scrap wood, recycled plastic laminate and cork, and then decorated with miniature furniture pieces. Part dollhouse for grownups and part functional shelves, they are designed to hold small items that don’t necessarily have a home, like keys, glasses and mail.
