We are so excited to collaborate with Australian artist Megan McKean during Modernism Week 2019 for ‘Palm Springs Love’ – an art show at the Palm Springs Style store in The Shops at Thirteen Forty Five. Running from February 14 through 24 (open daily from 11am-5pm), the pop-up show will feature a collection of midcentury Palm Springs home sculptures created by Megan especially for Modernism Week. They are larger than her popular Mini Cities, with each one handmade and hand painted by Megan. They are available exclusively in person at the Palm Springs Style shop, and will stay on display until the end of Modernism Week (purchased art pieces may be picked up on the final evening of Modernism Week (Feb. 24) or they will be shipped directly to purchasers.
We’re also unveiling a new collection of Palm Springs products by McKean Studio, including a new Palm Springs bangle bracelet, Palm Springs Love pin and two more new pin designs, and a limited edition mini book illustrated by Megan, entitled Palm Springs Love.
Megan will be signing her new book at the store on Friday, February 22 from 3-5pm, so join us for a glass of rosé while you meet her and check out the show! (But be sure to visit before then if you want to snag one of her sculptures because we anticipate they will sell out very quickly if interest thus far is any indication!!). **UPDATE!
