If you’re an architecture and design lover like us, Modernism Week is the most amazing time of year in Palm Springs, and this year we had the fun opportunity to work with Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery to explore the first weekend of the 11-day event. As the principal sponsor of Modernism Week, Ferguson worked with numerous Modernism Week featured homes to showcase products from lines carried in the Ferguson showrooms, including JennAir appliances, Brizo fixtures and plumbing, and more.
The 2019 Christopher Kennedy Compound is a 1962 home in the Indian Canyons neighborhood of Palm Springs that was redesigned by 14 top interior designers, who were each responsible for a specific room or space. Ferguson provided plumbing, faucets, shower fittings, fixtures, tubs, sinks, toilets, accessories, lighting, laundry and outdoor products for the home.
The gorgeous kitchen, designed by Christopher Kennedy, features the JennAir Noir collection of appliances.
The Green Gables home is a 1958 Palmer & Krisel-designed property in the Twin Palms neighborhood of Palm Springs that has been renovated and redesigned by H3K Design. The home features Brizo plumbing, JennAir Rise appliances and lighting designs provided by Ferguson.
The Christopher Kennedy-designed La Vie en Rose is a newly renovated and redesigned 1958 home in Vista Las Palmas, with JennAir Rise appliances, plumbing and fixtures by Brizo, Jacuzzi tub, lighting and fans all provided by Ferguson. The living room features the Dunn-Edwards 2019 color of the year, Spice of Life.
The Sackley Shagadelic home is a 1979 Stan Sackley-designed residence in the Indian Canyons neighborhood that has been renovated and redesigned by Thomboy Properties. The home features Brizo fixtures and plumbing, Mirabelle sinks and toilets and the JennAir Noir collection of appliances, all provided by Ferguson.
Modernism Week CAMP (Community and Meeting Place) also featured immersive brand experiences, showcasing the latest products from JennAir and Brizo.
Each JennAir appliance was more amazing than the next, with the advanced technology of the Rise and Noir collections available to experience in an interactive setting.
We love all of the Brizo faucet designs, but the new limited edition Vettis Concrete faucets really caught our eye — only 500 are being made and each is a numbered edition!
We also got the opportunity to explore the historic Dinah Shore Estate during the JennAir “Embrace the Night” event, which included entertainment by the amazing Nicole Bus. The home’s kitchen was recently tricked out by Jenn-Air — how amazing is that refrigerator setup?!
Ferguson also is a sponsor of the double-decker bus architectural tours, which are an amazing way to check out midcentury architecture around town (and you can see over the gates and hedges of those more elusive, hidden homes!).
Ferguson has 1,400 locations and 270 showrooms across the country, so if you like what you saw here we urge you to visit a Ferguson location near you to check out all the latest and greatest products in kitchen, bath and lighting design!
