One of the best things about Palm Springs is that you can dine outdoors nearly all year long. The challenge is finding outdoor dining furniture that is both stylish and able to hold up to the harsh desert environment. I found the perfect combination of both from Room & Board!
The Penelope Chair is durable and waterproof, so you can just hose off the desert dust, plus they’re very comfortable. I love that you can customize your outdoor dining table by choosing from multiple base and top options. I chose the ceramic composite tabletop, which features a ceramic top that is heat-adhered to clear glass to create a thick, durable surface that is resistant to scratching, staining, chipping, water and heat.
I created a mini Valentine’s Day-inspired tablescape to put my new outdoor dining setup to work, and I’m looking forward to lots of future outdoor celebrations!
You can see many Room & Board furniture and décor styles right now at their Palm Springs pop-up shop, located in the Uptown Design District (830 N Palm Canyon Drive). You can also experience Room & Board’s designs in person at the Gillman Residence during Modernism Week 2020. Thomboy Properties has undertaken a substantial renovation and restoration of this 1948 Herbert Burns-designed home in the Chino Canyon neighborhood, with gorgeous furnishings throughout by Room & Board.

Love the set up! May I ask where the cups/glasses are from?
Thanks! They’re from Ban.do.
