Summertime in the desert calls for refreshing, tasty cocktails, preferably enjoyed while floating in the pool! Bonus points for drinks that are quick and easy to make, which is why we love using the Stirrings line of mixers and ingredients. They’re made using real fruit and no preservatives, with tons of different products perfect for creating a variety of craft cocktails at home. We used the Stirrings Peach Bellini Mix, Authentic Grenadine (made using real pomegranate juice) and Pomegranate Rimmer to create a tequila-based cocktail we’re calling the “Desert Sunset.”
DESERT SUNSET
1.5 oz silver tequila
3 oz Stirrings Peach Bellini Mix
1 oz Stirrings Grenadine
Club soda
Stirrings Pomegranate Rimmer
Peach, sliced for garnish
Combine tequila, peach bellini mix and grenadine in a mixing cup; shake or stir. Place pomegranate rimmer mixture on a small plate. Rub a peach slice around the rim of cocktail glass and then roll the edge of the glass in the pomegranate rimmer mixture.
Add ice to glass and pour tequila mixture over. Add club soda to fill glass and stir gently. Garnish with a peach slice.
