New Year’s Eve is just around the corner, and what better place to celebrate than the desert?!  Here’s a rundown of our favorite options for ringing in the new year:

 

ACE HOTEL & SWIM CLUB

Spaceland, Moon Block Party & KCRW present NYE 2015 at the Commune at Ace Hotel, featuring live sets by Fools Gold, Deap Valley, Crystal Skulls and Moon Block. 8 p.m., $25 advance tickets, $30 at the door //  tickets   {update: tickets are sold out for the Commune party, but DJ Journee will be spinning in the Amigo Room from 10 p.m. – 2 a.m. with no cover}

 

VICEROY PALM SPRINGS

New Year’s Eve Dinner //  8 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Black tie optional dinner at the Viceroy’s Citron restaurant, featuring a five-course meal with cocktail pairings during each course. Dinner includes complimentary entrance to the pool party. $175 per person  //  tickets

New Year’s Eve Pool Party  //  11 p.m. – 1 a.m.
Party poolside at the Viceroy and welcome the new year with live entertainment, DJ, bottomless champagne and french pastries by Chef Patrice. $75 per person //  tickets

 

BAR

Celebrate New Year’s Eve in old Hollywood style at Bar in downtown Palm Springs. Prizes for best dressed in “old Hollywood glam.” $10 cover, which includes champagne toast and appetizers.  //  more info

 

THE SAGUARO PALM SPRINGS

The newly-reopened Tinto restaurant at the Saguaro Palm Springs is featuring a special New Year’s Eve tasting menu, with four courses, complimentary sangria cocktails and champagne toasts. Seatings are at 5 p.m, 6 p.m., 8 p.m. and 9 p.m., with menus starting at $65 per person. HACIENDA CANTINA & BEACH CLUB

Hacienda Cantina is hosting “Le Grande Fete” New Year’s Eve party, featuring “Stripper Circus,” the LGBTQ event made popular in West Hollywood and Las Vegas. Tickets are $20, with doors open at 8 p.m., tray passed hors d’oeuvres from 8 – 10 p.m. and entertainment by DJs Blacklow and Aaron Elvis.  //  more info

 

PAPPY & HARRIET’S

The Paul Chesne Band will be performing at Pappy & Harriet’s in Pioneertown, with doors at 6 p.m. and a $5 cover.  //  more info

 

BOOTLEGGER TIKI 

Count down to 2015 with tiki torches, a free champagne toast at midnight and entertainment by DJ CoffeeBlvbk at Bootlegger Tiki in uptown Palm Springs!
